HKN boss and Aye crooner, David Adeleke, known as Davido last Sunday disrupted the convocation ceremony of Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo, Ogun State, where he was one of the 1, 544 graduating students.
The singer made a dramatic entrance at the time the special guest of honour, the Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala was delivering her topical speech. The moment the singer walked into the complex, the shouts of his name from students and fans rented the air, making the minister to have to suspend her speech, which until Davido’s arrival held the audience spell bound..
When normalcy could not be restored after several minutes, Davido’s father, Chief Deji Adeleke, rescued the situation by calling out to his superstar son. “David! David! Leave this place now, and follow me where ever I go”..
