Three suspected kidnappers were early this morning burnt to death by a mob along Ijoko Road, Sango, Ogun State, southwest Nigeria.

The suspected kidnappers were accused of abducting a young woman who was shouting to be freed inside their vehicle.

A witness, Mr. Ade Sunday, who was at the scene of the incident explained that the suspects struggled to keep their victim inside the car but she fought vigorously for her life and was pushed out of the vehicle at Gas Line Bus Stop, Ijoko, Ogun State.

On getting down, the young woman started shouting: ‘kidnappers, kidnappers’, and this attracted the attention of commuter bus drivers and Okada riders who pursued the suspects. They caught up with them at the bus stop.

“The suspects were coming from Papalanto area of Ifo, Ogun State. They were taking her to Ijoko. The woman was shouting and struggling with the suspects inside the car. In annoyance, they pushed her out and drove off. The woman was shouting, “kidnappers, kidnappers”. This attracted the attention of commercial motorcycle riders and drivers who gave them a chase. They caught up with them at Gas-line Bus Stop,” Sunday stated.

P.M NEWS gathered that the mob dragged the two men out of the car, beat them and set them and the car ablaze before the arrival of policemen from Sango Station.

In a related development, another young man was burnt to death three poles to where the suspected kidnappers were burnt. He was also accused of trying to kidnap a little girl. When he was confronted, he allegedly brought out his phone, removed the sim card and broke it into two. He was beaten and set ablaze.

Policemen from Sango station were seen trying to restore order as at the time of filing this report.

A pregnant road sweeper working with the Lagos State Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) has been crushed to death.

The deceased identified as Mrs. Kikelomo Bamidele was crushed at Ojota, Lagos, southwest Nigeria, by a petrol tanker with registration number Kano NSR 592 YQ while working inside the BRT lane near the pedestrian bridge.

P.M.NEWS gathered that the road sweeper died at the Lagos State Emergency Centre at the old toll gate of the Lagos-Ibadan expressway where she was rushed.

Witnesses at the scene of the accident revealed that the accident occurred as a result of break failure.

“The tanker driver had break failure and was trying to manouver the vehicle when he veered into the BRT Lane where he crushed the sweeper. The sweeper’s leg was totally crushed and she lost a lot of blood,” a witness told P.M.NEWS.

The tanker also damaged another salon car on the road. The driver of the vehicle was unhurt.

An attempt by the tanker driver to escape from the scene was foiled by a LASTMA staff who pursued and arrested him. He was promptly handed over to the police at Ogudu.

The vehicle was also taken to the station.

A source at the Ijora Olopa headquarters of LAWMA revealed that the deceased was survived by five children.

A 27-year-old medical school student who is auctioning off her virginity online is now showing her face five weeks after making her project public.

The student, using the name “Elizabeth Raine” to protect her identity, has been running an online virginity auction since March 31. Bidding ends May 7.

Previously, Raine hid her face in photos and declined to answer questions that might reveal her true identity. She has decided to reveal her face to help attract bids from otherwise skeptical customers.

“I actually didn’t like the anonymity. People mistake it for shame,” she told The Huffington Post. “Plus, there has been some speculation that I’d be outed and I wanted to do it on my own terms.”

The current top bid listed on her website is $300,000, but she said she’s received bids near $550,000 that she’s in the process of confirming.

Raine may be showing her face, but she still fears getting kicked out of the medical school she attends if officials discover she is the “Med School Virgin.”

“Lawyers have different opinions on whether I’d get kicked out, but one lawyer I trust believes it won’t happen,” she said after providing The Huffington Post with passport photos, a student ID and other materials confirming her identity.

Raine claims to have bachelor’s degrees in both biology and engineering and is currently completing a combined MD/PhD program.

She was born in the southwest but spent much of her youth in Saudi Arabia where her father was employed in the oil industry.

Raine cites financial gain as the No. 1 reason for selling her alleged purity y, but adventure, eroticism, scandal and the chance to challenge norms about virginity also play into her decision.

“I’ve been planning this for a year and I’ve had a personal transformation because of it,” she said. “I’m more educated about prostitution, virginity and slut-shaming.”

Raine said her mother died when she was 10. Still, as tragic as that was, she dismisses dime store psychologists who want to use this incident to explain why she is a virgin.

“I am not emotionally damaged, broken or shut off as a result of it,” Raine said. “To the contrary, while it was truly devastating and the only difficult experience I have ever been through, my character and outlook on life are much better for it. I have become more compassionate, strong, motivated, and free in spirit. I have learned not to take life too seriously, but also not to take it for granted.”

In the past, Raine said, s*x and relationships took a back seat to school and other interests.

“I have a busy life. I am picky and guys were never a priority,” she said. “I had other things going on.”

Raine cannot help but attract skeptics, given the problems experienced by previous Internet virgins like Natalie Dylan and Catarina Migliorini, who were associated with similar auctions.

However, she said she has been planning this auction for a year and believes everything is in place.

“I’m very cautious and detail-oriented,” she told HuffPost. “I have confidence that I can execute and control it.”

The winning bidder will have to provide Raine with proof that he has no sexually transmitted diseases and is willing to wear a c****m. He also may not be under the influence of booze or drugs during the encounter, nor may he attempt backdoor or treat her violently.

Raine said she’s is open to kissing the winning bidder, and even holds out a small amount of hope that it might lead to something more.

“I wouldn’t rule out love, but it’s very unlikely,” Raine said.

Raine admits she does have a thing for older men and tall guys, but those factors probably won’t come into play for what is basically a business deal.

And she is not interested in losing her virginity to another woman, no matter how financially lucrative the bid might be.

“I’m straight. That would be out of my comfort zone,” she said.

In order to circumvent U.S. laws prohibiting prostitution, Raine said the actual s*x experience will take place in Australia, where it is legal.

As much as Raine has been trying to control all aspects of the virgin auction, she realizes the quality of the actual s*x is not something she can guarantee.

“There will be a legal contract between us,” she said. “[The winner] may not be happy [with the s*x], but he knows what he’s paying for

Trust me one could barely just believe the things that happen this days, 14 year old Endia Martin (pictured above) was killed on Monday April 28th by another 14 year old girl after they argued on Facebook about a boy.

Is this what 14 year old should be doing? Fighting over boys and killing each other? My goodness!

According to Chicago Times, the handgun used to kill Endia Martin had been brought to the scene by someone who knew the suspect and knew ‘there was going to be a fight’ Chicago police said

“What would have been, under any other circumstance, probably a fistfight between 14-year-old girls, because they were fighting over a boy, turned into a m****r. You introduce a firearm and you have a m****r.” The police said

Endia was walking home from school when the other girl approached, pulled the gun and opened fire around 4:30 p.m on Monday in West Garfield Boulevard, Chicago, according to police. Endia was hit in the back and killed instantly.

The 14 year old girl has been charged as a juvenile with m****r, while her 24-year-old uncle and a 17-year-old boy are also facing charges. The two are being held for giving the gun to the killer.

Nigerians are still doubting claims made by self-confessed Singaporean match-fixer Wilson Raj Perumal (WRP) in his book ‘Kelong Kings’ that he helped arranged the Super Eagles’ qualification to the 2010 World Cup Finals in South Africa.

On Tuesday, the NFF had through its General Secretary Musa Amadu denied Perumal’s claims and threatened to take “action” against him.

“The NFF will only say at this moment that there was no truth to the claim and that we had nothing to do with Perumal all through the Super Eagles’ qualifying series for 2010 FIFA World Cup.

“If the book impugns on the image of the Nigeria Football Federation, our players and the larger image of our dear country, we will take appropriate action.”

But exclusive information provided to Pulse Sports by Invisible Dog, an independent group of journalists based in Rome, Italy, suggests that the match-fixing relationship between the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) and Perumal’s agency started since Atlanta 1996, where Nigeria won gold in football.

“The first game WRP and other fixers tried to manipulate with Nigerians goes back to the Atlanta 1996 Olympics. The game was against Brazil. They talked to a few delegation members before the match, piad them 100 thousand dollars in advance, but the result the fixers wanted was not delivered and they collected their money back,” Invisible Dog told Pulse Sports.

In a detailed email to Pulse Sport, they chronicled a match-fixing partnership that now puts under doubt almost every tournament Nigeria has ever participated in since the late 90s:

“The second instance with Nigerian national team players was during the 2007 Women’s World Cup in China. Nigeria vs North Korea, 0-2.

“The third was the Inter Continental Cup tournament held in Malaysia in 2008. They fixed the Nigeria vs Iraq match, even though the match-fixers had asked a 0-0 scoreline and a Nigerian player, who was later sacked from the Beijing 2008 Olympics’ line-up, scored a penalty in the late stages of the game.”

“The BBC article on the Beijing Olympics fixing refers to spot-fixing but does not name names. Well, WRP and his associates, through contacts in the Nigerian delegation, managed to win two bets on who would kick off the games vs Belgium and Argentina.”

“Mid-July 2009 Nigeria U-20 invited to an invitational youth tournament held in Egypt organized by WRP to prepare for the Under 20 FIFA World Cup.”

“Nigeria vs North Korea WC warm-up friendly. WRP reassures the members of the Nigerian delegation that they are going to win the fixture because his syndicate is controlling the ref.

Invisible Dog also rubbished NFF’s denial and alleged that Nigerians are yet to know the truth of the matter.

“The NFF did not read the allegations contained in the book, nor did the journalists who posed them the questions.”

“We believe both press and officials should be confronted with the facts before rebuking them.”

While Pulse Sports cannot guarantee the validity of any of Invisible Dogs’ claims, it is evident that a lot is yet unknown to the average Nigerian.

Hence we pose this question again: Is NFF telling the whole truth and nothing but the truth? If Yes/No, what actions should be taken? Should we trust the words of a convicted match fixer?

Yesterday P-Square’s publicity Bayo Adetu was quoted as saying the fight between the brothers was all a publicity stunt, and that they all decided to play along. Well, after the backlash from fans, Mr Adetu has backtracked and claims he never made those comments. A statement he released below.

My attention has been drawn to one magazine interview quoting me that the purported P-Square break-up tale was a ‘publicity stunt.’ It was indeed a misconception on the part of the writer. I never said the rumour was a ‘publicity stunt.’

There is no way I could have granted an official interview and speak in such denigrating manner as being portrayed by the magazine in question.

I can remember talking to Star FM and NTA2, and it is on record that I never spoke in such unprofessional manner! Most importantly, I never said it was a ‘publicity stunt’ because that amounts to toying with the emotions of P-Square fans. I cherish the fans more than Diamond and therefore, I will never disrespect or toy with their emotions. Thanks for your understanding.

Mothers and other aggrieved indigenes of Chibok, Borno, yesterday staged a protest at the National Assembly calling on the government to speed up the release of their daughters that were kidnapped from the Government Girls Secondary school on April 14th.

The women under the aegies of Kibaku Development Association and led by senior female police officers converged at the Eagle Square Abuja, all dressed in black, from where they marched peacefully to the National Assembly, wailing and pleading for help from the govt.

Donald Sterling, the L.A Clippers owner who was caught on tape making disgusting racist comments to his girlfriend has been banned for life from the NBA and fined $2.5 million, which is the max fine that can be imposed under NBA rules. Under the ban, the 81 year old can’t go to games, attend practices, make decisions regarding the team or attend NBA meetings.

Basketball Commissioner Adam Silver made the announcement this evening Tuesday April 29th, saying the National Basketball Association will force Sterling to sell the team, which he has owned since the 80′s, to another organization.

Silver said Sterling admitted making those comments but showed no remorse. The commissioner said ‘Sentiments of this kind are contrary to the principles of inclusion & respect that form the foundation of our diverse, multicultural and multi-ethnic league.” Nice move!!!

Reality star Kim Kardashian and her rapper fiancé Kanye West, were rumoured to be having a lavish wedding extravaganza in Paris next month in front of all their family, friends and celebrity acquaintances, but TMZ are now reporting the couple are going to break with expectations by holding a highly secretive ceremony in the next few days.

Sources told the gossip site the couple already have a marriage license and intend to get hitched before the week is out.

Kim, 33, and Kanye, 36 – who have 10-month-old daughter North West together – are so intent on keeping their nuptials private that they have secured a ‘confidential’ marriage license so no one officially knows.

However, the lovebirds want to make up for their minimalist big day with an extravagant bash in the days following the event.

This marks a big turnaround for ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star Kim, who wed basketball player Kris Humphries live on TV in August 2011 following a 90-day engagement.

The star-studded affair took place in Montecito, California, and was filmed for a two-part, four-hour TV special on E! called ‘Kim’s Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event’.

The couple called it quits after just 72 days of marriage, with Kim citing ‘irreconcilable differences’.

Starting next year, indigenous Nigerian movies will begin featuring in the Best Foreign Language Film category of the Academy Awards, otherwise called Oscars .

This was made known during a press conference held in Lagos on April 29, 2014, to introduce the Nigerian Oscar Selection Committee and their mission.

Speaking at the event, producer of the movie, ‘Ije ‘, Chineze Anyaele who is the chairman of the committee, disclosed that the right was recently acquired but had been in the works for over two years. She also introduced members of the 12-man committee which includes journalist Shuaibu Hussein, film makers Charles Novia and Mildred Okwo and actor, Ramsey Nouah and seven others.

According to her, a good story and direction as well as sound, music, cinematography and acting are part of the criteria that shall be used to screen the movies.

‘It’s a great opportunity for Nigerian film makers as it will guarantee the right exposure and attention needed,’ she said.

Hussein added that the selected movie will compete with 76 others from other countries, of which the best five will be nominated by the Academy, and the winner announced at the ceremony.

He also stressed that the major criterion for the category is qualifying movies must have not less than 51 per cent indigenous language and must have been screened in the country for not less than 7 days.

An insider at Tizzle’s camp said:-

The deal is signed and sealed. They like Sean because he’s hot and believe they can make money with his music.

They also go on to say Tizzle’s management has been in talks with MTN for a while and his impressive run in the last 12 months with his mega hit Sho Lee informed their decison to bring him on board.

What Happened: A racist incident happened, in a recent Barcelona’s match against Villarreal on Sunday. A banana was thrown at Barcelona defender Dani Alves while he was about to take a corner kick. He ate the banana threw at him. When Dani Alves was interviewed later after the successful match, he said:

“We have suffered this in Spain for some time, you have to take it with a dose of humour. We aren’t going to change things easily. If you don’t give it importance, they don’t achieve their objective. I don’t know who it was, but thanks to whoever threw the banana, the potassium gave me the energy for the two crosses which led to a goal.”

NOTE! Although! everybody in the stadium was amazed at what happened. It was later reported that the person who threw the banana was identified and banned for life from watching any football match at the El Madrigal Stadium. An helicopter that mistakenly landed at Governor’s Lodge of Enugu Government House at about 11am yesterday was detained for alleged security breach.

Pilot of the helicopter and other members of his crew whose number could not be immediately ascertained, are also being detained inside Government House.

Vanguard learnt that the helicopter mistook the Government House for the State House of Assembly complex from where the pilot was meant to convey the corpse of a deceased member of old Anambra State House of Assembly, Sir Andrew Umeoji

A security aide to Governor Sullivan Chime confirmed that the helicopter was still inside the lodge by press time, while preliminary investigations were being conducted.

Over 200 students of the Government Girls College abducted by the Boko Haram sects on April 14, 2014 in Borno reported earlier today to have been ferried to neighbouring countries like Chad and Cameroon are said to be married off to the terrorists at the price of N2000.

This was made known by a leader of the Chibok Elders Forum, Dr. Pogu Bitrus who said:

“They ferried them in canoes to Cameroon and Chad republic after they were wedded off to Boko Haram members who bidded (sic) and paid N2,000 each as dowries on their heads.”

“The dowry was paid to their captors, the very people who abducted them from their school. One of them who married one of the girls took her to a border town close to Cameroon where villagers saw her.”

The Boko Haram members who have assumed “ownership” of the students were reported to have initially kept the girls at the Boko Haram camps in the notorious Sambisa Forest, then relocated them in trucks to other locations following the battle they had with the Military who had stormed the forest in search of the girls where over 40 insurgents were killed.

Bitrus who also said sources in Cameroon revealed most of the girls were now being held at “an area where the Boko Haram operates in Cameroon was in tears while speaking to Daily trust urged all Nigerians to join in the search of these missing girls.

He said:

“If these captors are trying to achieve a political point, I think the best thing is for us to try to make sure that they don’t succeed but from all indications they are succeeding due to inaction of government. It is helping these people in achieving their objectives.”

Meanwhile the parents of the abducted girls who had expressed their fear that their children will be married out forcefully to their abductors have given President Jonathan an ultimatum to rescue the girls.
