The R&B star, who is Brandy Norwood‘s younger brother, reportedly got into a violent confrontation and spat in a police officer’s face at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel.
A law enforcement source told gossip website TMZ.com that police were initially called to the scene because the 33-year-old star made contact with an unidentified woman’s butt in the bar.
Although it was determined to be ‘incidental’ and not sexual battery, Ray J was asked to leave the hotel, but he allegedly became belligerent and refused to leave so security made a citizen’s arrest.
The situation is said to have escalated further when law enforcement arrived at the scene and the ‘I Hit It First‘ singer kicked out the back window of the police car and spat in an arresting officer’s face as he was being handcuffed.
He was booked for trespassing, resisting arrest, vandalism and battery on a police officer, and later released.
The incident came less than a week after Ray J’s ex-girlfriend, Kim Kardashian, who famously made a sex tape while dating, which leaked in February 2007 and kick-started her career, married rapper Kanye West in a lavish ceremony in Florence, Italy last Saturday, May 24, 2014.

Unconfirmed reports say Kefee Obakeri-Esosa did not send out any tweets saying she was recovering
Nigerian singer Kefee has reportedly gone into a coma, just hours after reassuring fans she was doing well.
The singer reportedly collapsed earlier this week while on a flight going to Chicago.
German based-Nigerian blogger Stella Dimoko Korkus , who first reported the incident, claims the singer is currently hospitalized in Las Vegas, Nevada, and is allegedly suffering from brain damage.
‘I have been going back and forth with this info and confused whether to keep it to myself for fear of making this viral or calling on people to join hands and pray for Kefee Don Momoh’, Dimoko Korkus wrote.
Kefee’s husband Teddy Esosa has reportedly flown to the US to be at his wife’s side.
It has also been reported that Kefee did not send out the tweets to her fans on May 30, 2014, and that someone else is operating her Twitter account.

‘They won’t do it as a gimmick, it will actually mean something when they do it. Definitely expect the return of Walter White in some way, shape or form in the new show.’
However the insider was unable to confirm whether Bryan Cranston’s Walter White – for which he won a Best Actor Golden Globe – will be alive when he returns to the small-screen.
They explained: ‘I wouldn’t be able to answer that, but I know that they have options of bringing him back and that they will do it in an awesome way.’
Although full cast details for the new show are yet to be released, Bryan recently hinted at the return of his character while he was quizzed about the end of the show.
He told CNN: ‘You never saw a bag zip up or anything. I don’t know. Never say never.’

Last week, we saw/posted this pic of Clarion Chukwura with Ibinabo Fiberesima and Teco Benson and we assumed that all was well in Ibinabo/Clarion universe, but not so quick people. According to Clarion, her issues with the AGN president still stands. She explained how the pic came about and her surprise at seeing it on the internet.
“When I got the award, I came and met my team, the Royal Arts Academy, and we all hugged and took pictures. As I was going back to my seat, Ibinabo got up and hugged me and beckoned the photographers to take our picture. As I stepped away, Rita Dominic also got up and hugged me and also asked the press photographers to take our pictures.
“When we got to the airport, Teco Benson came to me and said he wanted to minister to me and he also beckoned to her and she came close. I told Teco that I didn’t have anything against Ibinabo. This is an AGN issue. We should be real about the issue. The following day, somebody called me and told me about the picture. I was surprised,” Clarion tells Punch

Hon. Bitrus Kaze, member representing Jos South/Jos East at the House of Representatives, has described the reported efforts being made by the Federal Government to offer amnesty to Boko Haram terrorist sect despite its continued bombings and killings of innocent citizens as a step in the wrong direction.
“I do not subscribe to any form of dialogue with terrorists; we will not grow weary of making the point resoundingly clear that no country the world over has succeeded in curbing the menace that way,” said Kaze.
The lawmaker stressed in a statement issued in Jos yesterday, that such effort, coming at a time the international community has declared to support Nigeria to stamp out terrorism, will boomerang.
He added: “Motivated by the tension, anxiety and sense of fear permeating the nation as a result of terrorism, those who canvass this awkward idea cannot be right. This should explain exactly why the Alhaji Kabiru Turaki dialogue committee was and will continue to be a perpetual failure”.
He recalled that Boko Haram members earlier rebuffed the attempt made by President Jonathan to offer amnesty to them in April 2013 adding, “the terrorists categorically declined and instead offered amnesty to Mr. President”.
This amnesty “coming shortly after securing a reluctant approval from both Houses of the National Assembly, and when global outrage against the abduction of about 200 school girls from Chibok gingered foreign collaboration, the renewed offer of amnesty to the Boko Haram can’t be a step in the right tinued bombings and killings en mass, cannot be a step in the right direction”.

Alhaji Alabi Ajikobi, a driver of the former Governor of Oyo State, Adebayo Alao-Akala, was shot dead on Friday by unknown gunmen in Ibadan.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that Ajikobi was shot by suspected armed robbers while returning from the bank where he had gone to cash some unspecified amount of money.
Ajikobi was said to have been shot around the Bodija area of Ibadan.
The Oyo State Police Public Relations Officer, Mrs Olabisi Clet-Ilobanafor, who confirmed the incident, said that the deceased was shot and killed on his way from the bank.
“It is true. We learnt that he went to a bank to collect some money. A man stopped him and had some discussion with him on his way back.
“Later, two men on a bike shot him and collected the money.
“We are on the trail of that man that stopped him. We have already begun investigation into the matter,” she said.

Ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo yesterday affirmed that he would be willing to play an intermediary role in efforts to locate and rescue the over 200 Chibok school girls still in Boko Haram custody.
He, however, said he cannot wade in without the go-ahead of President Goodluck Jonathan.
Obasanjo made this known in an interview aired last night on Channels television.
Recall that President of the Civil Rights Congress, CRC, and renowned independent mediator in the Boko Haram imbroglio, Comrade Shehu Sani had on Thursday confirmed that he attended a meeting convened by the ex-president in Abeokuta.
Sani had said in a statement that the meeting was attended by families of the Boko Haram sect members with the aim of opening new channels of communication.
Obasanjo told Channels he was “surprised at how certain meetings have turned out”.
“I cannot have a plan without the Presidency being involved”, he added, denying claims that he was “going on a one man mission”. He insisted that it would be “idiotic” for him to have done so.
The former president noted that he was put on the back pedal with Sani’s statement informing the state and national authorities that a meeting had taken place and admitted that he owed the government an apology for that.
“I have to involve the President and he also tells me this is what we are doing or this is what we are pursuing either in addition or along with what we are doing or not”, he said.
On the allegation that the abduction of the girls was a plan by opponents to bring down the present administration, Obasanjo said: “If the Presidency is obsessed with one thing and one thing only and any other thing of concern to Nigeria is secondary, then the Presidency will take that position”, which he said “will be unfortunate”.
Obasanjo explained that “Boko Haram (sect) has been in existence for years…they didn’t disturb my government because when I was in government I did not disturb their Sharia”, adding: “Sharia is part of our constitution”.
Reacting to the statement by Chief of Defence Staff, CDS, Air Marshal Alex Badeh that where the abducted girls are being kept had been located, Obasanjo urged the military authorities not to engage in public relations stunts with the issue.
He said: “This is not an issue that you will play Public Relations propaganda with. It is a serious issue that is like a spear in the heart of the parents and whatever statement we make and action we take, if it will not really deal with the issue in a way that will bring those girls out safe and secure and make their families happy and will also give every Nigerian a sense of security, then such statements should not be made”.
He added that the American forces have the capability to confirm or debunk the statement made by the CDS but remarked, “I will be pleasantly surprised if those girls are returned intact”.

He explained: When a man wants to have s*x, he peels off the paper backing on the cap and sticks it to the polyurethane to securely bond the two and trap semen. He insists the device, which is transparent, will stay on for the duration.
He believes his product will solve the age long problem with condoms , the lack of sensitivity.
However critics have come out to suggest the c****m wont help stopping the spread of sexually transmitted diseases.

President Goodluck Jonathan has become one of the first persons to drive Nigeria’s locally manufactured vehicles.
This piece of information was made public on Thursday, 29 May, 2014, by Reno Omokri, the Special Assistant to President Jonathan on New Media.
Mr Omokri went on his official twitter page and shared a picture of the president sitting on the driver’s side of a Nissan Sport Utility Vehicle, SUV.
It could be recalled that on 15 May, 2014, the Federal Government announced plans for massive production of locally manufactured vehicles in Nigeria from June.
The announcement was made during a visit of a delegation from Automobile Peugeot, France led by its Vice President, Mr Yves Moulin, at the ministry’s headquarters in Abuja.
The Minister of State for Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr Samuel Ortom said at tyhe occasion that as the new auto policy was adopted, the Federal Government had received a lot of interest from vehicle manufacturers.
He added: “As we commence assembly operations in Nigeria as a result of the new policy. We are hoping that our first assembly cars will come out from our plants by June this year.
“There is a huge potential in Nigeria; you have a very young population, talented and educated people. With this and with the good regulation to build the local industry, and with a clear vision, we will be able to add value, create employment and attract suppliers.

The owner and manager of a children’s boarding school in Maharashtra have been arrested after five minors said they were r***d, forced to watch pornographic films and act them out with one another, police and charity workers said.
The children were made to eat faeces as a punishment if they did not comply.
The 52-year-old owner of the Chandraprabha Charitable Trust and his 30-year-old female manager were arrested on Monday after a police raid on the school in Karjat city. Continue…
“We received a police complaint from the Childline charity saying that one child had gone home for the holidays and confessed to his mother that abuses were happening,” Karjat’s Police Inspector R.R. Patil told the Thomson Reuters Foundation late on Thursday.
“Five children in total have now come forward and we have booked the two suspects under various offences,” he said, adding that these included unnatural s*x (sodomy), wrongful confinement and sexual assault.
The school accommodated 28 underprivileged children, aged between 4 and 14, for 10 months of the year, said Patil, but most were on holiday at home at the time of the raid.
Police were trying to find out whether other children were abused and if there were any other suspects.
Anuradha Sahasrabudhe of Childline, a charity supported by the government, said the children had spoken about all kinds of sexual and physical abuse.
“It’s a horrific case. The children have been telling us about the sexual abuse going on there. There has been oral s*x, there has been forced s*x… These things have been photographed,” Saharasabudhe told the NDTV news channel.
“Children have been punished by making them eat dog excreta and when they vomited, they were made to eat vomit,” she added.
Police say the residential school had been running since 2002, but was not registered and had therefore escaped government inspections by child welfare officials.

There were reports earlier today that two prominent Borno State Emirs, the Emir of Gwoza, Alhaji Idrissa Timta (pictured left) and Emir of Uba Alhaji Ali Ibn Ismaila Mamza (pictured right) were kidnapped by Boko Haram men while on their way to Gombe to attend the burial of Emir of Gombe, Shehu Abubakar.
According to Daily Trust, one of the Emirs, Alhaji Idrissa Timta has died. Security sources said he died of heart attack while fleeing into the bush after gunmen attacked their vehicle and fired several shots which forced it to stop. Continue…
“Already, arrangement is being made to bring his corpse to Gwoza from Shafa. His corpse was found in the bush,” a source said.
The Emir of Uba, Alhaji Idrissa Timta, who is younger, escaped while many of the people in their entourage have been reportedly abducted by the attackers.
It was gathered that most of the vehicles in the convoy have been set ablaze.

Nigerian gospel singer Kefee has assured her fans that’s she’s doing well after a recent health scare.
The Nigerian gospel singer is reported to have passed out while on a flight to Chicago, forcing the airplane to make an emergency stop in order for her to receive medical care.

Members of the Boko Haram sect on Friday kidnapped two Borno Emirs, Emir of Gwoza, Alhaji Idrisa Timta and the Emir of Uba, Alhaji Ismaila Mamza.
They were abducted at about 10am today. They were on their way to attend burial of Late Emir of Gombe who died two days ago when they were abducted. They were kidnapped near Shaffa town in Hawul local government area of Borno State.
A top officer at the Department of State Services confirmed it. The two emirs were elevated to first class status by Borno State governor early this year.

My friend had a book on his table on creativity and one of the pages asked a simple question; ‘everyone talks about the first kiss. But what about the last kiss?’
That got me thinking… About the last conversations or interactions I had with…
My friend that disappeared: One day he called and we spoke about his magazine and plans. Next day I’m getting an email asking if I had seen him or heard from him. His phones were off, and we’ve still not found him, five years later.
My car: I got up and left for work like I usually do. Thirty minutes later, my car was spinning on the bridge. One fractured arm and several weeks later, I realised I couldn’t get back into that car.
That project: It was a simple enough project but it just didn’t make me happy nor fulfilled. One day I drove off after a meeting and I just didn’t go back.
That guy: One day you’re happy and he’s the best thing in the world. Next, neither of you is calling the other. And then you realise it’s over…

Nigerian singer Bez Idakula has lost his brother-in-law Adebola Ladoja in a car accident.
Reports say the accident took place on Eko Bridge, Lagos, May 29, 2014.
Adebola, a son of former Oyo State governor, Rasheed Ladoja is reported to have been driving a Volkswagen Golf car, heading towards Lagos Island around 3:30PM when a truck moving on top speed, rammed into his car on Eko Bridge and killed him on the spot.
Lagos state Police Public Relations Officer, Ngozi Braide has confirmed the sad incident and said Adebola’s corpse has already been placed at the mortuary.
‘The victim died on the spot. His corpse has been moved to the Lagos Island General Hospital’s mortuary for autopsy, while the truck’s driver has been arrested’, Braide’s statement read.
Bez is married to Bolatito Ladoja, Adebola’s sister.

Ifeanyichukwu Eric Abakporo, a Pastor of the Deeper Life Bible Church, has been sentenced to six years imprisonment by a federal court in New York.
The former Brooklyn-based civil attorney will be spending time in a United States prison in a case of defrauding banks, mortgage lenders, property owners, and property buyers.
Mr. Abakporo was sentenced on Wednesday, May 28 along with his co-defendant, Latanya Pierce, who received a lighter, 30-month sentence.
They were both found guilty of the federal charges of conspiracy to commit bank fraud, conspiracy to commit wire fraud, and bank transfer fraud, involving at least two mortgage property lenders.
Abakporo will most likely be deported to Nigeria after he is done serving his sentence, with the likelihood of a three-year supervisory probation release waved.
The presiding judge in the federal case, US District Judge Shira A. Scheindlin immediately remanded the accused into custody.
His wife and two children wept openly in the courtroom as he was being taken away in handcuffs.
The legal fate of Abakporo and Pierce was never in doubt. Both were convicted in 2013, in a wide-ranging series of illegal transactions in New York City defrauding banks, mortgage lenders, property owners, and property buyers over a nine-year stretch, dating back to 2003.

Kenyan actress Lupita Nyong’O has gotten the film rights to Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s novel ‘Americanah ‘.
During Stylist Magazine‘s Stylist Book Club Inaugural Session at the Waldorf Hilton in London on May 29, 2014, Adichie said the Oscar winning actress now has the full rights to make a derivative work off her popular novel.
Adichie’s book ‘Half of a Yellow Sun’ was also adapted into a movie and released in 2014, but it’s yet to hit Nigerian cinemas as the National Films and Censors Board has refused to approve it for public viewing.

Former Governor of Oyo State, Rasheed Ladoja, on Thursday lost one of his sons in an auto crash on the Eko Bridge in Lagos.
The deceased, identified as Adebola Ladoja, was driving a Golf saloon car, marked, AKD 107 CJ, and was said to be on his way to Lagos Island when a Daf truck, with number plate, JJJ 59 XA, driven by one Justice Oseghai, rammed into his car on the Eko Bridge.
An eyewitness said the driver of the Daf truck, who was on top speed, lost control of his vehicle, rammed into the median of the bridge, before he eventually crashed into the deceased’s car.
He said, “It took several hours before the victim could be rescued from the wreckage of the vehicle. He was trapped behind the wheels with blood gushing out of his head.”
The Lagos State Police spokesperson, Ngozi Braide, who confirmed the incident, added that it occurred at about 3.30pm.
She said, “At about 3.30pm on the Eko Bridge, Lagos Island, a Daf truck with number plate, JJJ 59 XA, driven by one Justice Oseghai, ran into a Volkswagen Golf saloon car, marked, AKD 107 CJ, driven by one Adebola Ladoja, the son of a former governor of Oyo State, Senator Rasheed Ladoja.
“The victim died on the spot. The corpse has been removed to the Lagos Island General Hospital mortuary for autopsy while the truck driver has been arrested.”
Some friends of Adebola took to Facebook to mourn the deceased
One of them, Kiri Phoenix Gray, wrote, “Omg I’m in such shock to find out my friend Dee CaKe Ladoja is no longer with us. I’ll never forget what such an amazing friend you were to me Dee and the only person I had when I first moved to London. I’ll miss you so much and I regret all the times we said we needed to catch up recently and didn’t. It was only a couple of weeks ago since we spoke and I won’t forget that conversation.
Another friend, Folarin Amosu, wrote, “Adebola Ladoja, my aburo, my good friend and ex colleague, Just heard the sad news about your accident that led to death. Why bro??? Still saw you two weeks ago when you visited me, we had a lovely time laughing and sharing business ideas.
‘‘You are the true legend Debola. Personally you will always be in my heart and I will always miss you.”

16 year old Vincent Parker pleaded guilty yesterday to murdering his parents Carol and Wayne Parker last December. The boy says that there was no specific fight that prompted the brutal m****r. The sadistic killer told authorities, ‘I just remember getting mad,’ Parker told the court. ‘It’s all from my dad. All this stuff like my dad taking away my iPod and stuff.’
The story gets worse. Vincent was an only child being raised by his hard working parents Carol, 57, and father Wayne, 55, in their Norfolk, Virginia home. They did everything right – they lived in a good neighborhood, and helped Vincent become an honor roll student.
But he boy snapped one day . . . and turned into a moster. On December 19, 2013 Vincent left school early while his dad was still at work. He showed up at the family home and surprised his mother – by dousing her in pepper spray.
While the 57 year old woman was blinded and unable to defend herself, Vincent stabbed his mother in the eye, and then beat her with a crowbar and metal baseball bat ‘until she stopped breathing’. A medical examiner noted 25 separate smashes and stabs on Mrs Parker’s neck, face and head.
The animal then waited patiently over his dead mother’s body until his father came in the house. He surprised his dad and hit him in the back of the head with a crowbar, smashing his skull. He then stabbed his father multiple times.
Luckily his father didn’t die from the mortal wounds. He managed to call 9-1-1 and tell them what happened. When the ambulance arrived Carol had already died. Wayne survived a short time but died in the hospital.
Yesterday Vincent plead guilty to two counts of second degree m****r. A psychological evaluation found him to be both 100% sane and intelligent. He was charged as an adult and will be sentenced in September.
