The situation of Cultism activities been practiced in the Nigerian education system is really getting beyond hands as new reports says that 4 secondary school students were arrested for cultism.
These students were students of St. Francis High School, Akure, Ondo State and they were arrested by police because they belonged to a cult group.
Now, Just before you go thinking this might just be some speculation by the police, The suspects confessed to the crime and said they were made to lick their blood and swearan oath of membership of the cult group while reciting their code.
The four secondary students names are Lawal Lateef who is 18 years of age, Felix Victor who is 17 years of age, Nsoani Stephen who is 18 years of age and Festus Francis who is also 18. They were arrested and detained by a patrol team at about 7 a.m. at Emure-Ile junction along the Akure‑Owo expressway while coming from where they were initiated in Owo.
The Police PRO in the state, Wole Ogodo, confirmed the arrest of the suspects and promised they will be charged to court soon while he said they were yet to reveal the cult group that invited them to Owo for initiation.
