Military camouflage no longer ‘entertainment uniform’ in Nigeria

Early this year, the Nigerian Army reportedly sent out a letter banning Nigerian celebrities from what it considers the ‘indiscriminate use of the Nigerian military camouflage’ in music videos, photo shoots or concerts.


In short, the military authorities are supposedly saying it’s not meant for the entertainment industry.


Apparently, our celebrities are not so disobedient after all. Because since the letter was released, and even after the military reportedly denied issuing such a directive through the purported letter, we are yet to see our celebs wear any shade of camouflage ensemble at events or in videos.


Or are they scared of getting lashed in public?! However, thumbs up to them for being obedient, whichever way.
