Jessie J is ‘not in love’ with Luke James.
The ‘Bang Bang’ hitmaker recently went public with her new romance, and though she is smitten with the US singer, she is still ‘learning’ to figure out her feelings and fall harder for him.
She said: ‘Am I in love right now? I’m working on being in love.
‘That’s the truth. I don’t want to sound mean. But I’m not in love…yet. I’m learning how to fall in love.
‘Being in love is when you can be yourself as if you were on your own, but they’re there.’
Despite her cautiousness, the 26-year-old singer admitted she can see herself settling down with her ‘amazing’ boyfriend.
Asked whether Luke, could be her happily ever after, she told the forthcoming issue of Britain’s Glamour magazine: ‘Maybe. Why not? I’m nearly 27.
‘I’m at a point in my life where anyone I’m allowing to give that part of myself to, I want to give the chance for it to be forever. And he’s really amazing.’
Looking further ahead, the ‘Thunder’ singer is keen to marry and have children, and also has a number of professional goals she wants to achieve.
She explained: ‘I want to do charity stuff, a line of perfume, another book. I’d like to write an inspirational book, an acoustic album, have kids, and get married.
‘I want to buy my mum and dad a house outright; I want to buy my sisters’ houses outright. I’m nearly 27 and I’m nowhere near done. I feel like I’ve only just got my foot in the door.’
