President Goodluck Jonathan expressed confidence and determination regarding the release of the territories seized by Boko Haram.
The country leader made this known while speaking through his representative, Mohammed Wakil, in Maiduguri, Borno State, on November 14, Punch reports.
Meanwhile the claim comes shortly after the news about new raids broke out.
The sect, which has captured numerous towns in Nigeria’s North-East within the recent period, just stormed two more towns of Adamawa State and launched an attack in Chibok, Borno State.
As Boko Haram continue advancing in the attempt to claim more territories, Jonathan declared that the armed forces was mobilising human and material resources to return the affected towns and communities.
He vowed to tackle insurgency at all cost adding that the Federal Government’s agenda on the issue is designed to provide short, medium and long term solutions to the current security challenges in the North-East.
