A motorcyclist, identified as Segun Atupa has been murdered by hoodlums at Adifase Street, Bariga, Lagos who cut off his hand and fled with it.
The 28-year-old deceased who lived on Olusoji Street, Bariga was reportedly hacked to death with machetes on October 24 around 8pm by the hoodlums suspected to loyal to a political party while going about his evening business.
The thugs were said to had returned from a rally before carrying out the attack, dumping the late Atupa’s body beside a canal on the street as they left, Punch learnt.
It was also learnt that the deceased was attacked because the hoodlums claimed that he was working as an informant for rival political gangs in the area.
Sadly, Punch gathered that the late Atupa had recently lost his wife about two weeks in an accident and was still mourning her death.
