Gospel act, Sammie Okposo says there can never be a replacement for late singer Kefee.
He told our correspondent during the candle light session organized in honour of late Kefee, at Oba Akenzua Cultural Centre, Benin, Edo State.
Okposo advised against upcoming acts copying the late singer’s style saying it won’t work as Kefee was known for her originality.
‘I’m very sure a lot of people will come and want to do cover for her songs and try to sing like her but there can never be another like her. She came and imparted the world with her message’ he said.
Nikki Laoye also described Kefee as a good hearted, lively and God fearing person adding that her impact in the industry is one worthy to be recognized.
Kefee was buried on Friday, July 11, 2014 at her Okpara Inland home town, Ethiope East, Delta State.
