Actor, Filmmaker and TV
Host, Chris Attoh made an
appearance on ‘hanging out
with KOD’ over the weekend,
where he revealed that he
and Damilola started dating
even before the M-NET
produced drama series, Tinsel
officially hit the screens. ”We
got hooked to each other the
very first day we auditioned
for Tinsel but we decided to
keep it on a quiet note,
pretending nothing is really
happening between us”.
On how he sees the growth of
the Ghana’s entertainment
industry, Chris
commented:”Ghana has
undergone a period of growth
and development but what’s
still keeping us back is that we
choose to focus on the
negatives more often. I will
really love to see Ghana back
on the map and getting
Ghana back on the map lies in
the hands of the individual
citizens of the country”.
Chris Attoh hinted that a
good upbringing, being a
master of oneself and being
ambitious have kept him
grounded all these years. He
also revealed that among all
the musicians in Ghana, he
admired multiple award
winning songstress, Efya the
most. ”I was right there when
Efya was made, no direction,
nothing but Efya keeps rising
and rising day in, day out”.
Chris was full of praise for his
‘sister-in-law’, Shirley
Frimpong Manso for helping
him in one way or the other
and for nurturing him into
who he has become. He
described Shirley as a no-
nonsense woman who has
really represented Ghana well
on the map. He disclosed that
his action-packed movie,
Interception which features
John Dumelo, Ama Konadu
Abebrese, Adjetey Annan,
himself and other stars will be
out very soon.
