The photo above just proves people were taking selfies as far back as the 1920s, so the millennium kids wouldn’t think they started the trend which has become a world wide phenomenon.
We compared this to the group Oscar selfie taken by Ellen DeGeneres which trended with over a million retweets on Twitter worldwide and you can see there is not much difference in the pose.
Just that the device became smaller.
