Friendly:- USA vs Nigeria On June 7th At 11pm

CONCACAF champions, the United States, will take on African champions, Nigeria, in a pre-World Cup friendly. The match will be the farewell game for the US men’s national team before they depart for Brazil.

In earlier friendlies played this year, the US played out a 2-2 draw with Mexico in Arizona in April, beat Azerbaijan 2-0 in San Francisco last month, and defeated Turkey 2-1 in New Jersey yesterday.

The match will also be the last international ‘A’ friendly for the Super Eagles before departing to their São Paulo World Cup base. This year, the African champions played out a 0-0 draw with Mexico in March, drew 2-2 with Scotland.

USA coach, Jurgen Klinsmann, will likely use the encounter to further test his favored 4-2-3-1 formation; while his opposite number , Stephen Keshi is likely to deploy a 4-3-3 formation.
