Manchester United are reportedly set to make Radamel Falcao’s loan deal from Monaco permanent within the coming days, UK’s Metro reports via Marca. Spanish publication Marca claims the Red Devils have made the decision to tie down the Colombia star after recent tests on the forward’s fitness showed the 28-year-old to be ‘fully up to scratch physically’ and ‘able to withstand the rigours of regular football.’
The newspaper believes that United manager Louis van Gaal has given his approval for the club to sign up Falcao permanently – with Monaco vice-president Vadim Vasilyev being claimed to have already met with the player’s agent Jorge Mendes to get the deal moving.
