Meek Mill had the opportunity to speak briefly to fans earlier this week.

Last month, Rick Ross posted a picture of Meek with a group of inmates on Twitter. He added the following caption to his post: “Meek in da building all OG’s roun’m #FreeMeekMill”

DJ Khaled is another artist who spoke to Meek in a phone call he made from prison. The rapper reportedly let loose a 100-bar freestyle during his conversation with Khaled.

“Jus talk to meek … He spit 100 bars on phone ! #freemeek the bars r fire!!!!!!!!!!!,” Khaled said in an Instagram post made after his phone call with Meek.

It is currently unclear when Meek Mill will be released from prison.
