Hernandez Manchester United Didn’t Believe In Me Javier Hernandez Speaks

Javier Hernandez has launched a scathing attack on Manchester United claiming they “didn’t believe in him”.

The Mexican striker joined Real Madrid on a season-long loan after a number of frustrating seasons at Old Trafford.

Hernandez burst on to the scene under Sir Alex Ferguson in 2010 netting 13 goals in his first full season in English football.

But the 26-year-old subsequently fell out of favour, and after only six starts last term, jumped ship to the Bernabeu on deadline day. And, speaking following his first appearance for Los Blancos in the Champions League this week, Hernandez has revealed he decided to leave when he realised United didn’t have enough faith in him.

“There was no confidence. I remained patient and that’s why I’m here today.

It was a very tough year especially because they didn’t believe in me,” he told Claro Sports.

Javier Hernandez presented as a Real Madrid player at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, Madrid, Spain – 01 Sep 2014 Hernandez couldn’t be happier in the Spanish capital and feels he now has the chance to prove why he deserves to be there.

“I had the chance to meet Ancelotti when he was Chelsea coach. The faith he has in his players motivates me and makes me work hard,” he added.

“I really want to make the most of my time here. Any footballer dreams about joining Real Madrid.

I know I’m here for a reason. The statistics support me, I’m a good player and a good person.”
