The Defence Headquarters has denied claims by Cameroonian military of being involved in the fight against Boko Haram in recent times, especially in Konduga Borno state where a major victory against the sect group was recorded.
According to the Nigerian Defence, all fights against Boko Haram in Kondura and other border towns were carried out by Nigerian troops.
The Cameroonian military had earlier in a statement claimed to have killed the man believed to be the impersonator of late leader of the sect group, Abubakar Shekau.
