Confirmed: Toke Makinwa And Bovi To Host The Prestigious Headies 2014

Toke Makinwa and popular comedian, Bovi have been unveiled as hosts for this year’s edition of Nigeria’s biggest and most prestigious music awards, The Headies. Themed “Feel the Passion…”, the 9th season of The Headies will hold on the 25th of October, 2014 and will feature some of the biggest performances and side attractions ever witnessed on the Headies stage.

Toke Makinwa and Bovi will join past hosts, Dr Sid, Tiwa Savage, eLDee, Rita Dominic, MI, Omawumi among other A-list celebrities who have graced the Headies stage as hosts. Continue below to see more photos.

The Headies, formally known as the HipHopWorld awards has over the years recognized and celebrated notable achievements of buzzing artistes and entertainers in the Nigerian entertainment industry.

As the anticipation for the awards build up, nominees will be revealed later in the month as well as special performances for 2014. As with last year, the recently introduced category, The Best Alternative Song will be featured again this year.
