After yesterday’s shocking attack by thugs allegedly backed by Governor elect Ayo Fayose on a state high court judge, sad news has emerged from the state again.
Latest news now states that the former chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in Ekiti State, Mr. Omolafe Aderiye has been shot dead on his way home.
According to SaharaReporters, residents say that as Aderiye was shot dead by unknown gunmen at Ijigbo area in Ado Ekiti.
Mr. Aderiye who was a huge supporter of Governor-elect, was heading home when gunmen said to be around four stopped the former official and shot him down at close range.
Ayodele Fayose and was with Fayose when, thugs earlier in the day attacked a judge at the state high court earlier in the day.
