Late Blessing Eloho
Sammie Okposo and Onyeka Onwenu were absent at the burial of late Nigerian Idol contestant, Blessing Elohor, held on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Satelite Town in Lagos State.
Her manager, Prodigy told NET that the burial was attended by the late singer’s family and friends alone, ‘Sammie Okposo and Onyeka Onwenu were not there. Nobody from Nigerian Idol came. We didn’t make it so much of a public affair’, he said.
Late Elohor participated in the first edition of the competition where she emerged part of the top 20. She worked as a back up singer for Okposo and Onwenu before going solo.
She died on Sunday, July 27, 2014 shortly after returning from the US where she had gone to complete her single, ‘Tif My Heart’.
