Contrary to reports making rounds that multiple award wining gospel star Yinka Ayefele welcomed a bouncing baby boy this week, NET can confirm to you that the story is false.
The media and blogs had been led on wrongly by his publicist David Ajiboye who took to his facebook wall to write ‘it’s a baby boy for Yinka Ayefele, and the boy shall be called Ayodeji Stanley, Oluwadamisi, Oluwafifehansimi Joel Omo Ayefele’.
When NET contacted David via a phone call this morning, he confirmed that the new baby actually wasn’t for Yinka Ayefele himself rather his younger brother.
In his words ‘It’s Yinka’s brother Niyi who welcomed his second child but he because his very close to his elder brother, he decided to name the child after his brother, because Yinka also bears the name ‘Joel’.
The new bundle of joy was given birth to on Wednesday, July 30 in Ibadan, Oyo state and was christened on Wednesday August 6, 2013.
