Kate Henshaw is one of Nigeria’s most regarded actresses
You might not that know frontline Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw, was billed to attend another event yesterday, Sunday, August 17 apart from the Jimmy Jatt 25th anniversary event and book/album launch.
But NET can authoritatively reveal that Africa’s leading DJ’s event was not the only event marked on Henshaw’s calendar. The Nigerian actress and Samsung ambassador was as well scheduled to be at a gala event held yesterday at Oriental Hotel in Lagos.
The gala event, organised by the Africa Film Academy, the parent body of the Africa Movie Academy Award (AMAA), was billed to celebrate the 10 years of the pan African movie award.
But when the event, billed to start at 6pm, had not started by about 7.30 when the red carpet part kicked off, the actress decided she was done with the waiting.
Also an ONGA ambassador, she headed straight to the Jimmy Jatt event at Intercontinental Hotel not far away after she had waited for about one hour for the AFA gala to start without success.
She had unlimited fun with other celebrities at the event, staying and enjoying herself well into the night.
