Google Nigeria has released it top trending searches for July, 2014.


As a result of the heightened fear of the deadly Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) and the curiosity that comes with it, folks were prompted to head over to the search engine in turn elevating the term to the Number 1 spot in the list of trending terms.


The ongoing doctors’ strike also made an appearance as well as Hamas-Israeli conflict, the death of lawyer and activist Bamidele Aturu , Kefee‘s burial, Malala Yousafzai‘s trip to Nigeria, Jude Okoye‘s wedding, and MBGN feoma Umeokeke.


While for the trending musicians in Nigeria, Olamide sits at the top of the list alongside his YBNL artiste, Lil Kesh, Afro-beats prodigies, Wizkid, Davido & Burna Boy were also not left out.
