Nollywood director Obi Emelonye was on Monday, May 26, 2014 arrested in Lagos.
In a message posted via his twitter account, Emelonye said he and his team were arrested by Lagos TV while taking aerial shots in Ikeja, Lagos, and although he was released a few hours after, he expressed his disappointment, claiming his mission should have been understood, being a member of the media.
Emelonye is popular for the movies Mirror Boy and Last Flight to Abuja , shot in 2011 and 2012 respectively.
