Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have reportedly got married.
The couple, who got engaged in October 2013, allegedly tied the knot in a private ceremony in Los Angeles this weekend after securing their marriage license last week.
A source told Life & Style magazine: ‘Kim and Kanye are now married on paper. They got their license in California over the past few days.’
However, the secret ceremony won’t be their only wedding as it is set to be followed by a lavish extravaganza in Paris later this month in front of all their family, friends and celebrity acquaintances.
The loved-up duo – who have 10-month-old daughter North together – are set to walk down the aisle on May 24 before jetting off to a secret location on honeymoon.
Kim, 33, and Kanye, 36, were forced to legally wed in California before their romantic bash in Paris after it was revealed the French law requires a strict 40-day residency before they can get married in the country.
However, the pair are determined to make their Parisian wedding an experience their 200 guests will never forget, so have hired the Trianon Palace Hotel for them to stay in.
A source said previously: ‘Guests will be greeted with goodie bags containing £300 bottles of Bollinger champagne, £120 Creme de la Mer products, handmade souvenir trinkets with Kim and Kanye’s initials etched in Swarovski crystals, bottles of scent from local perfumeries and £150 vouchers for treatments at the hotel spa.’
