When it comes to entertainers campaigning and using social media as a focal point, Diddy does it best (remember ‘VOTE or DIE’?).
The media mogul has all week been pushing and supporting the #BringBackOurGirls campaign, in order to raise awareness on the April 14 abduction crisis involving the kidnap of over 200 schoolgirls in Chibok by members of the Boko Haram sect.
Diddy has posted pictures of not just himself holding up a placard bearing the now global-trending hashtag but that of Russell Simmons, Ellen DeGeneres, Anthony Hamilton, Ziggy Marley and a digital painting of the late Notorious B.I.G.
Others like Alicia Keys and gospel singer Kirk Franklin, Big Sean, Wendy Williams have also lent their support.
